چکیده

The development of cooling textiles has a significant impact on energy saving and cost-effectiveness in the context global warming. Engineering with performance while maintaining their intrinsic traits, for example, lightweight, washable, comfort, durability, is great challenge developing personal garments. Here, synthesis nanodiamond/polydopamine/wool (ND-PDA-wool) nanocomposites through facile dip-coating approach demonstrated. Different types ND including detonation (DND), carboxylated (ND-COOH) hydroxylated (ND-OH), are used, dopamine templating applied to achieve strong adhesion bonding between fiber ND. morphology, structure, properties as-coated fabrics characterized, together comfort measured. Due excellent thermal conductivity ND, temperature difference coated uncoated ones around 2.4–3.9 °C within short time span 30 min. ND-PDA-Wool demonstrated enhanced stability improved mechanical water absorbency greatly well-maintained air permeability. ND-PDA-wool composite offer strategy develop durable, comfortable immense potential reducing space costs.

Wearable and Washable Conductors for Active Textiles.

The emergence of stretchable electronics and its potential integration with textiles have highlighted a challenge: Textiles are wearable and washable, but electronic devices are not. Many stretchable conductors have been developed to enable wearable active textiles, but little has been done to make them washable. Here we demonstrate a new class of stretchable conductors that can endure wearing ...

Machine-Washable PEDOT:PSS Dyed Silk Yarns for Electronic Textiles

Durable, electrically conducting yarns are a critical component of electronic textiles (e-textiles). Here, such yarns with exceptional wear and wash resistance are realized through dyeing silk from the silkworm Bombyx mori with the conjugated polymer:polyelectrolyte complex PEDOT:PSS. A high Young's modulus of approximately 2 GPa combined with a robust and scalable dyeing process results in up ...

Flashag – New Lightweight Aggregate for High Strength and Durable Concrete

A new patented lightweight aggregates is tested. This type is given the name Flashag. The only solid raw material used to manufacture these aggregates is fly ash. The aggregates are sintered but not pelletized and the process is easy and inexpensive. This paper describes these patented aggregates and compares them with other lightweight and normal-weight aggregates that are used for concrete. T...
